Orlando, FL : Pedestrian hit, killed in Osceola County early Monday, June 6, 2016

The Florida Highway Patrol said that a pedestrian was struck and killed during overnight in Osceola County.

Ian Rinehart, 20, was driving his 2010 Dodge vehicle eastbound on Neptune Road when officials say he struck a pedestrian walking along the same street at 3:30 a.m., Monday.

Osceola County Fire Department confirmed that the pedestrian died at the scene, officials stated.

The crash is currently under investigation, but officials said that alcohol was not related.

The pedestrian’s name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
