Car crashes through fence

A car was left abandoned after someone crashed through a fence Saturday at a residence in the 2300 block of Holmes Avenue.

The driver was apparently traveling east on Outer Park Drive when they went off the right side of the road just east of Holmes. The car crashed through a privacy fence and ended up in the yard about 2:30 a.m.
When the homeowner looked outside, they thought they saw a man and a woman walking away from the car.

Police were able to find the registered owner of the car nearby, but she denied driving at the time of the crash.

The woman was not arrested.
