Grady County, OK : Two people dead in an H.E. Bailey Turnpike accident on Wednesday morning October 15th 2014
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has released the names of two people killed in an H.E. Bailey Turnpike accident Wednesday morning.
According to troopers, 55-year-old Cary Neal Rogers' vehicle was parked on the shoulder of Interstate 44 when a semi driven by Scott Randall Sims, 43, Tuttle departed the roadway to the right for an unknown reason and struck the rear trailer of Rogers' vehicle.
At the time of the collision Rogers was standing outside, on the passenger side of his vehicle and was struck by the semi, according to the OHP.
Troopers said Sims was then ejected 25 feet. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, investigators said.
