PLATTE COUNTY, MO : Early-morning vehicle fire takes life of 19-year-old driver following KC collision on Saturday, 13th July 2024

An early morning vehicle fire took the life of a 19-year-old driver near a Kansas City casino following a collision with a bridge support.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that around 5:55 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, emergency crews were called to the area of Missouri Route 9 and Riverway Blvd., near the Argosy Casino, with reports of a single-vehicle collision.
