Madison, WI : Beaver Dam man arrested on OWI after crash shuts down Highway 151 on Tuesday, 3rd July 2018

A Beaver Dam man was arrested for operating while intoxicated Tuesday night after he rear-ended a car on Highway 151 in Sun Prairie, sending two people to the hospital, police said.

James Borck Jr., 30, was driving erratically on northbound highway 151 between Reiner Road and West Main Street at about 9:15 p.m. when he hit the other car, Dane County Sheriff's Office Lt. Heil said. Police suspect speeding and driver impairment are what caused the crash.

The passenger in Borck's car and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to area hospitals, Heil said. The passenger, 28, was revived from a suspected drug overdose and the other driver, 41, had back and head injuries.
