One person dies after fiery crash in Maryland

One person died and two were injured Sunday night after a fiery crash between a car and a motorcycle about 7 p.m. on Route 18 near Kent Narrows.Maryland State Police said Kaitlin Ashley Omara of Westminster was driving a 2012 Nissan Versa west on state Route 18 west of Kent Narrows Way south when it crossed the double yellow center line and hit an oncoming 2006 Suzuki motorcycle. Upon colliding, both vehicles were engulfed in flames.Grasonville Volunteer Fire Department, Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department, county paramedics, MSP and the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office all responded.
