Marion County, FL : Monroe City man injured in car crash on Route C approximately 4.5 miles west of Palmyra on Saturday, 8th December 2018

Brian E. Caldwell, 22, of Monroe City, suffered moderate injuries in a one-car crash at 4:25 p.m. west of Palmyra in Marion County. He went by private vehicle to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Caldwell was driving a 2000 Honda Accord east on Route C approximately 4.5 miles west of Palmyra, when he fell asleep. After waking, he overcorrected, and the car slid off the road and overturned, landing on its top. He was not using a safety device.
The State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.
