Memphis, TN : Officer involved in crash in Medical District on Monday, November 28, 2016

A Memphis police officer was involved in a crash in the Medical District.

The crash happened just before 6 p.m. at the corner of East Street and Union Avenue.

An ambulance arrived to the scene, but the extent of the officer's injuries are unknown.

Police detained one man at the scene. It's unclear if he will face any charges at this time.
