WEST LIBERTY, IA : 1 dead, 2 injured after overnight crash in Muscatine Co. on Tuesday, 17th September 2024

One person is dead and two are injured after a crash in West Liberty.

According to a media release from West Liberty Fire & Ambulance, just past midnight on Wednesday crews responded to the 1200 block of Elder Avenue.

Crews said when they arrived they found a car with three occupants had left the roadway, rolled several times, and came to a stop in a bean field.

Officials said two of the people in the car were able to get out before crews arrived but one had been partially ejected during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
