Fargo, N.D : Man seriously injured in 4-wheeler crash in rural Walsh County on Sunday, March 19, 2017
A man suffered significant injuries while driving an off-road four-wheeler in rural Walsh County early morning on Sunday, March 19.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol said the incident happened on a partially ice-covered dirt surface on property along Highway 35, eight miles southwest of Adams around 1:30 a.m.
The Patrol said 38-year-old Christopher Bata of Adams was ejected from the 4-wheeler. He was not wearing a helmet.
Bata was taken by ambulance to First Care Health Center in Park River. His condition is not known.
The Patrol said Bata was cited for driving an off-highway vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
