LEWISTOWN, MO : 12-year-old injured in ATV crash on Sunday, 24th February 2019

A 12-year-old was injured in a Sunday morning all-terrain vehicle crash on private property a mile southwest of Lewistown.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Randall L. Routt, 12, of Lewistown, was riding a 1999 Honda Recon ATV in a pasture at 11:35 a.m. when the vehicle overturned, coming to rest on top of the driver.

Routt was taken by Lewis County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill, with moderate injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Lewis County Sheriff's Department and the Lewistown Fire Department.
