GROTON, CT : Victims identified in deadly crash on I-95 in Groton on Tuesday, 17th September 2024

Two victims of a deadly crash in Groton were identified on Tuesday.

They were traveling in a pickup truck on I-95 northbound around 9:20 p.m. this past Friday night when the vehicle veered off the road near exit 87.

The truck hit a guardrail and crashed into a tree, causing it to catch fire.

Both the driver, Timothy Montague, 36, of New London, and the passenger, Lori-Lynn Botero, 34, also of Groton, Conn., suffered deadly injuries.
