Goldsboro,NC : One man was killed on may, sunday 7th 2017

One man was killed Sunday and two others were injured after a serious wreck that was fueled by a shooting.

Around 12:15 a.m., officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a shooting near Atlantic Avenue and N. Herman Street. Moments later, officers responded to a report of a single-car crash on Wayne Memorial Drive near First Church Road.

Officials said three people were involved in the crash, which is connected to the shooting. When police arrived at the scene, they found Timothy Moses and Malik Foye standing outside the car. The third person, 23-year-old Shiheem Raiford, was found dead inside the car.

Moses was shot in the knee, police said, and Foye suffered only minor abrasions from the wreck. Both were treated and released from Wayne Memorial Hospital. It is unclear if Raiford died as a result of the crash or as a result of a shooting that occurred beforehand, officials said.
