A crash that injured a Danby woman on Route 4A was blamed on a combination of wet road conditions and speed, according to Vermont State Police.
Twenty-three-year-old Elena Curcio was driving east on the highway at about 9:46 a.m. Sunday when she lost control of the vehicle on a curve in the road and crashed into the guardrail.
Police say Curcio over corrected after striking the rail and drove off the east side of the road, rolling the car over.
Curcio, who was wearing her seat belt, was taken by Regional Ambulance Service to Rutland Regional Medical Center for minor neck pain.
Police say Curcio was driving between 55 to 60 mph on the posted 35 mph stretch of road when she rounded the slick curve.
