Finlayson, MN : Two people dead after being hit by a car in Pine County on Thursday morning, September 22, 2016

Two people are dead after being hit by a car Thursday morning in Pine County.

According to the State Patrol, it happened around 6:30 on Highway 18, just west of Finlayson.

Two men were standing on the highway inspecting a crash when a westbound car hit them both.

The 63 year old Finlayson man and a 68 year old man from southeast Minnesota were killed.

The driver of the car -- a Rutledge man -- was not seriously hurt.
No word on possible charges.

The State Patrol is investigating.
