One Dead in Single Car Crash in Nevada

One man is dead after a car drove into a wall in Henderson early Saturday morning.The crash happened around 2:20 a.m. on Pebble Road near Carnegie Street.Henderson police say 24-year-old Arnold Cheung was driving a BMW 550i eastbound on Pebble Road at a high rate of speed. As he and his 23-year-old passenger were approaching the intersection, Cheung failed to stop at the stop sign and continued across the intersection striking the block wall.Both were trapped inside the crushed BMW. Cheung was extricated from the car and taken to Sunrise Trauma for treatment. The passenger died on scene.After preliminary investigation indicated that speed and alcohol may be the factors in the crash.This is the fourth traffic related fatality in Henderson this year.
