A Clackamas County Sheriff's deputy was critically injured in a motorcycle crash Tuesday afternoon.
The crash was reported along the 18000 block of South Holly Lane around 2:30 p.m. when an 18-year-old Oregon City man driving a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV crossed the median and struck the deputy, who was traveling in the opposite direction. Three other teens were inside the SUV, and all are cooperating with police.
The deputy, who has been identified as Robert Nashif, was conscious and breathing when he was transported via LifeFlight to OHSU in Portland. He suffered a severe leg injury and as of late Tuesday afternoon, is in critical condition.
Oregon State Police is investigating the crash.
