Dothan, AL : Three seriously injured in North Eufaula Avenue accident on April, Friday 7th 2017
A front-end crash Friday afternoon left three injured. The accident occurred just south of the Chewalla Bridge on North Eufaula Avenue around 2 p.m. Friday.
Eufaula Police report that the 2002 Ford F-150 pickup was traveling north on Eufaula Avenue when it crossed through the median cut through and struck a 2013 Chrysler 2000 that was traveling south.
Both occupants of the Chrysler, a female driver and male passenger, were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated using the jaws of life by the Eufaula Fire Department.
The male driver of the Ford pick-up was also trapped as the vehicle rolled over on its side. He was taken by air ambulance to a Dothan hospital in serious condition. The driver of the Chrysler was air lifted to a hospital in Montgomery, and the passenger in that vehicle was taken to Medical Center Barbour initially for treatment and later airlifted to another hospital.
Names of the injured are not being released at this time and we have no updates on their condition. The Eufaula Police Department Traffic Investigations Division is investigating the crash.
