Ravenna,OH : Truck leads Ravenna police on chase after crash on November, Wednesday 29th 2017

Ravenna police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a pick-up truck involved in a hit-skip crash on Route 88 who then led police on a chase.

According to Ravenna Police Capt. David Rarrick, the truck was involved in a hit-skip crash sometime after 2 p.m. just south of a large barn fire.

Police pursued the truck south for several miles at speeds reaching more than 60 MPH, Rarrick said, who said the pursuit was called off for safety reasons.

Police were unable to get a description of the truck or driver, Rarrick said.
