Winter Garden, FL : One person was injured when dump truck collided with an SUV at Intersection of Stoneybrook West Parkway On Tuesday, May 24th, 2016

An accident occurred early this morning when dump truck collided with an SUV, according to the Winter Garden Police Department.

The crash was at the intersection of Stoneybrook West Parkway and Winter Garden-Vineland Road, near the ramp to State Road 429.

The dump truck was in the left turn lane going eastbound on Stoneybrook West Parkway. According to police, the truck went straight toward State Road 429 instead of turning left, colliding with a Kia SUV, which was in the lane to the right of the

dump truck.

During the crash, the truck overturned on to its side. The dump truck driver is at fault, according to police.

The driver of the dump truck was treated at the scene. The SUV driver was hospitalized but has already been treated and discharged from the hospital.
