Desoto County , MS : Driver of a car was killed and passenger was injured after car crash at Star Landing Road on Friday, December 12th 2014

One person is dead following a Friday night crash at Highway 61 and Star Landing Road in DeSoto County. According to DeSoto County officials, a car and an 18-wheeler were involved in the accident. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, the passenger was air-lifted to Regional One in critical condition. This is the third crash in the area within the last month.
