Soda Springs ,ID :Two People injured after motorcycle-on-deer crash along Highway 34 on Saturday ,May 2nd 2015
Authorities are investigating a motorcycle-on-deer crash that injured two people north of Soda Springs, Idaho.
Idaho State Police says the crash happened after noon on Saturday on Highway 34 after a deer ran onto the roadway.
According to police, 48-year-old Van Jorgensen of Lewiston, Utah and his passenger, 44-year-old Susana Jorgensen, struck the deer with their 2014 Harley Davidson.
Both riders were transported via ground ambulance to Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs. Their condition is not known.
Police say the two riders were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
