Woodland,CA : Moorpark man killed in 118 Freeway crash near Porter Ranch identified on September, Friday 8th 2017

A driver who was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash on the westbound 118 Freeway near Porter Ranch was identified Saturday by the coroner’s office.

He was identified as 25-year-old F. Cody Mauricio of Moorpark, according to the coroner’s office, the vehicle’s sole occupant. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP reported.

Mauricio was trapped in the wreckage after the vehicle he was driving rolled down an embankment and overturned, landing on the Topanga Canyon Boulevard on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported at 2:12 a.m. Friday.
