BRASHEAR, MO : Hurdland woman injured in crash east of Brashear on Saturday, 4th April, 2020

A Hurdland woman was injured in a Saturday morning crash east of Brashear.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Chrysler van driven by Amanda J. Ayer, 36, of Hurdland, was eastbound on Mo. 6, 1 mile east of Brashear, at 7:15 a.m. The patrol said the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, went airborne over a creek and hit an embankment before coming to rest on its wheels.

Ayer, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Knox County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Hospital in Kirksville with moderate injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Adair County Sheriff's Department and the Knox County Sheriff's Department.
