DAMARISCOTTA, ME : Police ID man killed in Damariscotta crash on Monday, 7th November 2016

Police in Maine have identified a man who was killed when his pickup truck collided with a tractor-trailer in the town of Damariscotta.

The Portland Press Herald reports that town police Chief Ronald Young says 76- year-old Shannon Gilbert, of Boothbay, died Monday morning in the crash near the intersection of U.S. Route 1 and Business Route 1.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
