Tucson, AZ : One person dead in two-vehicle crash in Interstate 10 at South Palo Verde Road on Thursday December 17 2015

One person died in a wreck on Interstate 10 at South Palo Verde Road on Thursday, Dec. 17.
The two-vehicle crash happened around 4:40 p.m. and forced the closure of all lanes of traffic. I-10 westbound reopened at 5:45 p.m. and eastbound lanes were opened at 6:40 p.m.
Another person involved in the wreck was uninjured, said Rural/Metro Fire Department spokesman Capt. Jay Karlik.
According to DPS spokesman Quentin Mehr, a westbound car crossed the median and into eastbound lanes.
