Orange County, FL : Pedestrian struck, killed in Orange County in State Road 436 on Friday December 18 2015

A pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing an Orange County road Saturday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened just after midnight at the intersection of State Road 436 and Old Cheney Highway.
Troopers said the pedestrian, 37-year-old Jose Gil of Winter Park, was attempting to cross SR-436, but traveled into the path of an oncoming car. The front of the car struck him.
Gil was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, but later died.
The crash remains under of investigation
