OTERO COUNTY, CO : Covering Colorado Suspect steals CSP patrol vehicle, dies in fiery crash in Otero County on Tuesday, 20th June 2023

A suspect stole a Colorado State Patrol vehicle and died in a fiery crash in Otero County, according to the agency.

Otereo County deputies were attempting to stop a suspect who was traveling on Highway 50 Tuesday morning. CSP state troopers were called in to help around 10:57 a.m., according to the agency. The vehicle was connected to a "shots fired" call.
