KANSAS CITY, MO : 3 children injured in crash on Interstate 35 in Lenexa on Friday, 31st May 2024

Three children were injured, two seriously, in a crash Friday afternoon on Interstate 35 in Lenexa, authorities said.

The crash happened on southbound I-35 to eastbound I-435.

A Kansas Highway Patrol crash report revealed the driver of a 2003 Ford Explorer changed lanes at the last minute to try to take the exit ramp to eastbound Interstate 435.
