La Crosse, WI : Taylor woman killed in Jackson County crash on Tuesday afternoon, August 30, 2016

A two-vehicle crash in Hixton, Wis., left one woman dead Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency responders were called to the scene on Hwy. 95 just before 4 p.m. and found two badly damaged vehicles, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s office.

Ashley M. Tollefson, 31, of Taylor was killed. The other person was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.

The highway was closed for about four hours as a result of the crash.
