Portland , OR :Wash. driver cited in Portland traffic crash that killed child on Monday , June 22nd 2015

Porltand police say an Aberdeen, Washington man has been cited for careless driving with an accident in the wake of a March 7 multi-vehicle traffic crash on Interstate 5 at Victory Boulevard that fatally injured a 7-year-old Washington girl.Sgt. Pete Simpson says 24-year-old Bennett Rowe was cited last week after the Multnomah County district attorney's office reviewed the case and found no criminal wrongdoing.Rowe was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban in the crash, which involved four other vehicles.Simpson says 7-year-old Arianna Lundin of Cathlamet, Washington, was in a different vehicle. She died a few days after the crash.Several other people were injured.
