Cumberland, MD : Man killed in ATV accident near Barton on Friday evening, November 4, 2016

A 72-year-old man was killed when his four-wheeler overturned Friday evening near Barton, Maryland State Police said. Troopers from the Cumberland barrack responded to the call at approximately 5:17 p.m.

Garry Allen Davis Sr. was reportedly gathering wood when the accident occurred, police said. A 911 dispatch call indicated first responders found Davis unconscious and administered CPR.

Barton and Tri-Towns volunteer fire and rescue departments assisted at the scene. No further information was immediately available.
