Albany, GA: Two people rushed to hospital after car accident on Saturday, July 18th 2015

Two people are in the hospital following a single car accident at the 1400 block of Palmyra Road.Albany police responded to the accident around 9:52 a.m.Officials said the driver of a Ford F250 was traveling from 7th Avenue when the driver lost control.The truck crossed Palmyra Road, struck several trees, and flipped before coming to a stop.When Dougherty County EMS arrived, they said one person was ejected from the car, while the other person was found on top of the car.Both people were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.Dougherty County EMS officials said the person who was ejected is currently in critical condition.The other person is in stable condition.The Albany Police Department's Traffic Unit is investigating the wreck.Stay with WALB as more information becomes available.
