Boulder, CO : DUI arrest in Colo. 66 crash on Monday, 2nd July 2018

A woman from Estes Park was arrested Monday night after she police say she failed to yield the right-of-way, causing a crash on Colo. 66.

Serena Williams, 43, was cited for careless driving and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, according to Colorado State Trooper Josh Lewis.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Colo. 66 and 53rd Street in Longmont around 6:24 p.m., Lewis said.

Williams was driving a 2015 Jeep northbound from a private driveway. Investigators allege she entered the eastbound lane while another vehicle, a 2014 Chevy pickup, was traveling in the same area.
