JOHNSON COUNTY, IN : Man killed after being hit by semi while parked alongside I-65 in Johnson County on Friday, 7th June 2024

A 35-year-old Franklin man was killed in a crash with a semi-truck while he was inside of his vehicle parked alongside Interstate 65 late Friday night.

At around 10:15 p.m., the Johnson County Sheriff's Department responded to the crash on I-65 near the 96-mile marker in Johnson County.

JCSD says the victim was struck by a southbound-moving semi-truck while he was parked along the side of the highway.
