GREENE COUNTY, AR : Missing man killed in ATV crash identified on Wednesday, 14th September 2016

A missing Greene County man discovered dead Wednesday night has been identified.

Lendy Lenderman, 83, of Paragould had been missing since about 3 p.m. Wednesday from the area near Greene County Road 305.

Sheriff David Carter said Lenderman was riding a 4-wheeler on a grassy field road and hit a washout. This caused the ATV to overturn, pinning him.

Searchers found Lenderman's body still beneath the ATV at 10:25 p.m.

Carter said his department worked with the Greene County Rescue Squad, Arkansas State Police and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission to search for the man.
