Livingston, LA : 16-year-old killed in Livingston crash on U.S. 190, just east of La. 441 on Sunday, 16th February, 2020

A Holden High basketball player was killed and four other people were injured when the pickup they were in veered off a road and struck a tree early Sunday morning in Livingston Parish, authorities said.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. on U.S. 190, just east of La. 441, according to Louisiana State Police.

Nathan Raymond, 16, of Holden, was a passenger in the truck and suffered fatal injuries after he was ejected, troopers said. Raymond wasn't wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
