Redgranite, WI : Seven People Hurt After Dump Truck Crashes into Restaurant on State Highway 21 in Waushara County on Friday, April 24, 2015

Seven people were injured Friday evening after a dump truck crashed into a restaurant in Waushara County, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

The truck had just collided with another vehicle about 7 p.m. on State Highway 21 at Main St. near Red Granite, according to a news release from the State Patrol.

The truck was westbound on Highway 21 when it struck another westbound vehicle from behind. The truck then crashed into the restaurant, injuring five customers.

The dump truck driver was injured and flown by helicopter to a hospital and the driver of the second vehicle was also injured.

The conditions of the injured were not available Friday night and the crash remained under investigation, according to the release.
