CARBONDALE, IL : A crash occurred near Carbondale on Thursday, 18th January 2024

Traffic was slowed down after a crash occurred near Carbondale on Thursday afternoon.

Officials on scene said two vehicles were involved in a crash which caused damage to at least one vehicle and delayed motorists traveling in the area.

This happened in the late afternoon hours at the intersection of Highway 13 and Reed Station Road.

Carbondale fire department and police department were working the scene.

It is unknown at this time if anyone was injured.
