San Juan,TX : San Juan man killed in crash in Karnes County on June, Tuesday 13th 2017

A 30-year-old man from San Juan was killed in last week in a one-vehicle rollover crash, according to the Karnes Countywide.

The crash occurred June 6 at approximately 4:47 p.m. on County Road 344 just north of Kenedy, which is about 60 miles southeast of San Antonio. Timothy Lee Medina Sr. was heading northwest when the right tires of the 2007 GMC storage truck he was driving went off the road, according to the Texas Highway Patrol Media and Communications.

The report said Medina overcorrected to the left, began skidding, and overturned several times. He was ejected from his vehicle as the storage truck landed on its left side. State troopers, Karnes County Sheriff Department and Karnes County EMS responded to the scene. No other injuries were reported.

Funeral services were handled by Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission.
