A woman was killed and a child injured in a wreck Wednesday night on I-85 North in Gaston County, according to the Highway Patrol.
The wreck, which involved a vehicle rear-ending a tractor-trailer, occurred in the northbound lanes of I-85 at 9:21 p.m.
Details were not immediately available as to the cause of the wreck or the identity of the woman killed.
