St. Paul, MN : Woman killed in crash on I-35W in Minneapolis on Sunday, November, 5th 2017

A 29-year-old Minneapolis woman was killed when the vehicle she was driving struck a guardrail on Interstate 35W in Minneapolis early Monday morning.

The crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m. in the interstate’s southbound lanes near 26th Street East, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The driver, whose name as not yet been released, lost control near the Minnesota 65 interchange and hit a guardrail, causing the vehicle to roll. She was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, according to the State Patrol.

A 29-year-old female passenger, also of Minneapolis, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
