At 3:42 p.m., Palestine police responded to an accident in the 2100 block of Evergreen Street and West Oak Street, near Sanderson Farms' entry road.
A 1995 black Chevrolet C1500 traveled southeast on Evergreen. A 2007 black Dodge Ram 1500 traveled southwest in the 4800 block of West Oak Street in the inside lane.
