Rapid City, SD : Two motorcycle riders injured in crash on Elk Vale Road on Thursday, August 4, 2016

Two motorcycle riders were hurt Thursday in a two-vehicle crash on Elk Vale Road.

According to a press release from the Rapid City Police Department, the motorcycle riders, whose names were not released, were traveling on Elk Vale Road at about 4:30 p.m. when a pickup traveling the opposite direction tried to turn left onto East Minnesota Street. The motorcycles and pickup collided, and both motorcycle riders were thrown from their vehicles, according to the release.

They were transported to Rapid City Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
