NASHVILLE, TN : Man charged after seriously injuring others in Old Hickory Blvd crash on Sunday, 20th October 2024

A man has been charged after hurting three other people in a crash, according to an arrest affidavit. One of them was seriously injured.

The affidavit said Samuel Ramirez-Camacho has been charged with reckless endangerment with a motor vehicle and aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.

Officers responded to a crash on Old Hickory Boulevard on Friday at around 2:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found three vehicles with severe damage, including a Honda CRV, a Chevy Silverado and a Ford F250.

The driver of the Honda, identified as Mrs. Opelt, was transported to Skyline Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the F250, identified as Valentino Castro, along with the passenger of the Silverado, identified as Juan Pablo Ramirez-Gutierrez, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
