Charles County , MD :46- Years old Agnes Dyson killed in Crash after Audi A hit her car at Intersection on Monday afternoon ,April 20 2015

The victim of a fatal car crash in Charles County was identified Thursday as Agnes Dyson, 46, of White Plains, Md.

Dyson was driving a 1991 Volvo 940 on U.S. Route 301 at about 3:45 p.m. on Monday, Maryland State Police said in a statement.

At the intersection with Mitchell Road, she made a left turn. But a 2012 Audi A3, coming from the opposite direction with a green light, hit her car in the intersection, police said.

Her car turned over and then hit a traffic light pole. A state police dispatcher said that the driver of the other car was transported to a hospital and has since been released.

Police said they are still investigating the crash.
