BUTTE COUNTY, CA : 2 rushed to hospital after crash on Skyway on Monday, 10th April 2023

Two people were rushed to the hospital with minor injuries after two crashes on the Skyway Monday morning, according to the CHP.

The crash happened on westbound Skyway near Lookout Point around 9:45 a.m.

The CHP said a Hyundai traveling towards Chico and the driver saw a deer crossing the road, so they slowed down. Then as the driver continued travelling westbound, a second deer jumped in front of her car, causing her to swerve. The PIO for CHP, Officer Frank Valdepena told Action News Now that the car spun around, rotated, then hit the embankment the passenger side.
