FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, MI : Pedestrian killed after being hit by semi truck Mustang in Monroe County on Monday, 29th January 2024

A 33-year-old man from Newport was killed Monday, Jan. 29, after being hit by two different vehicles in Frenchtown Township.

The crash happened at about 2:20 near the intersection of Monroe Street and Santure Road. Authorities said Rory Tobin was walking along Monroe Street when he was struck by a southbound semi truck and then by a southbound Ford Mustang. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
