Dover, DE : Woman struck, killed while crossing US 13 in Dover on June 23, 2014

A 28-year-old woman has been struck and killed by a car while crossing U.S. 13 near Dover.

Dover police tell the accident happened about 3:50 a.m. at the highway's intersection with Webbs Lane. The woman was struck by a vehicle heading south.

Police say the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
