MUSTANG, OK : A serious head-on crash on Thursday, August 24, 2017

A serious head-on crash closed down parts of Mustang Road Thursday morning.

That crash sent three people to the hospital one with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say the impact forced one car completely off the road.Police say the driver of that car was ejected. They do not believe that person was wearing a seat belt and say he or she remains in surgery with life-threatening injuries.

The people driving the other two cars were also sent to the hospital with less serious injuries.

Officers are still not sure exactly what caused the crash.
